Abstract

CUNHA, Maicon  and  BIRMAN, Joel. Considerations about transference nowadays from Michael Balint's and Piera Aulagnier's lectures. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2019, vol.31, n.2, pp. 259-279. ISSN 0103-5665.  http://dx.doi.org/10.33208/PC1980-5438V0031N02A03.

The aim of this article is to return to a fundamental concept for psychoanalysis, transference. This resumption will be organized from questions posed by the culture to the clinic and by the clinic to the culture today. Taking as its central axis the discussion on the apostolic function of which Michael Balint assumes the provocation of the function of the physician/analyst as the prescription of himself in the treatment, we will investigate the place of power that the analyst assumes. Due to the inherent characteristics of the transference relationship, the analyst's place can be understood as the equivalent of using a drug, such that a dependence can take place in the dynamics of drug addiction, a complex plot that alludes to an important destination of pleasure.

Keywords : transference; drugs; alienation.
