Abstract

RIBEIRO, Sarug Dagir  and  BELO, Fábio Roberto Rodrigues. Rethinking the Lefebvre case with Jean Laplanche. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2019, vol.31, n.3, pp. 557-576. ISSN 0103-5665.  http://dx.doi.org/10.33208/PC1980-5438v0031n03A08.

We propose a re-reading of Marie Bonaparte's Lefebvre case, with the aim of redirecting the vector of explanation of the psychic phenomena of psychosis, which points to the radical decentering of the psychic constitution. Thus, we have as reference the generalized theory of seduction, through which we work the text in order to make it surrender its elements concerning the original seduction. We start with a the general presentation of the case and the Bonapartean explanations about the main psychotic symptoms of the patient; then, based on the translation theory of repression, we present the possible destinations and the failures of the original seductions, having as principle the primacy of the seduction of the other in the origins of unconscious psychic life and the gain of reality in psychosis. The historical-epistemological rescue of this case has an interest in contemporary psychoanalysis precisely because it points to radical decentering.

Keywords : Lefebvre; psychosis; seduction.
