Resumen

CAMARA, Leonardo  y  HERZOG, Regina. Ferenczi: For a multiplicity of modes of expression. Psicol. clin. [online]. 2021, vol.33, n.2, pp. 337-356. ISSN 0103-5665.  http://dx.doi.org/10.33208/PC1980-5438v0033n02A07.

The Hungarian psychoanalyst Sándor Ferenczi (1873-1933) developed, throughout his work, original conceptions about the body, and from them we can infer a theory of expression. This article intends to address this aspect of his theory, working with two points. First, to describe the different forms or modes of expression conceived by Ferenczi. Secondly, to present some characteristics and consequences of his model of the different modes of expression, notably, his respect for the multiplicity of forms of expression, considering each one in its difference and uniqueness, despite understanding them as having a common origin, the body. This position leads to a problematization of the hegemonic place given to language in psychoanalytic discourse, as well as the space relegated to the body in psychoanalytic experience.

Palabras clave : Ferenczi; expression; body; psychoanalysis.
