Abstract

AZAMBUJA, Sonia Curvo de. Letter to a young psychoanalyst. J. psicanal. [online]. 2007, vol.40, n.72, pp. 177-191. ISSN 0103-5835.

The author initiates its work speaking of its inspiration in the poet Rainer Marie Rilke. From then on it goes to point out the question of the passion of where we are caught and unconsciously we produce our vocations. As the poet, she also speaks to the young analyst and the passage in the formation that, according to its agreement, is taken root in the Oedipus. Exploring this issue, the author finds the construction of the proper psychic device, in which inside and the rejection is implied (ideal ego and ego ideal). She understands that there is invariance in the oedipal question that is crossed historically by different cultures, that suffer fluctuations, changes and slips, but that remains as a rock of basic touch of the psychoanalysis and the analytical formation. The author finishes its work, after many returns around this axle, saying that this axle, the Oedipus, is not a defensive armor for our subjectivity, but is a game of data, where the plays occur with the unconscious imago, in a way that never is closed.

Keywords : Passion; Vocation; Ideal ego; Ego ideal; Oedipus; Ethics; Clinamen; Imperative categorical; Anguish; Solitude; Identity; Tragic.
