This article intends to analyze the notion of “art of interpretation” proposed by Fabio Herrmann. Among the implications of this conception, it must be highlighted the idea of treating the patient with analogous attitude to the one demanded by an art piece, the situation of psychoanalysis into the fictional field, between literature and art, and the inquiring of the modern idea of method.
