Abstract

ZIMERMAN, David. Considerations on the possibility of pathogenic results of training analysis. J. psicanal. [online]. 2008, vol.41, n.74, pp. 169-178. ISSN 0103-5835.

This paper intends to reflect on training analysis, but it will limit itself to the pathological aspects of the candidate’s psychoanalytical education. The author emphasizes some basic aspects: first, the important influence of a permanent “psychoanalytical superego” within IPA’s commandments, from its origins until today. The greatest consequence of this is the installation of a trans-generational influence, that is, the mentioned commandments forged by IPA persist in successive generations of new psychoanalysts, in the positive and the negative aspects, and the latter are emphasized in this paper. The author also makes reflections on the candidate’s supervision, and points out the importance of the real person of the psychoanalyst.

Keywords : Pathology of the training analysis; Analytical education; Candidates supervision; The real person of the psychoanalyst.
