This article presents and discusses the analysis of Margaret Little with D. Winnicott, as she describes it. It also presents a resume of Little’s two previous analysis, both of them unsuccessful. Then, based on the clinical procedures adopted by Winnicott, it reflects on the changes of psychoanalytical classic technic in the treatment of psychotic and borderline patients.
