Abstract

RACHE, Eliana. The feminine: a very delicate mother-baby interaction. J. psicanal. [online]. 2009, vol.42, n.76, pp. 65-76. ISSN 0103-5835.

In this work we follow the early paths of mother-baby relationship and show how they come to light during psychoanalytic sessions: tenuous emotions that appear in the use of time and space. If we capture these tenuous experienced modifications and look for their meaning, can we enlarge our psychoanalytic knowledge? The common ground of these experiences is that they are all non-verbal and refer to senses. Ferenczi, Winnicott and Roussillon are the authors that support our discussion in this work. Ferenczi with the notion of mimicry, Winnicott with the notion of pure feminine, and Roussillon´s understanding of narcissistic-identitary pathology. The clinical case of a five year-old patient and the very early trauma she lived is used to illustrate these primitive processes related to mother-baby relationship.

Keywords : Body; Sensorial memory; Pure feminine; Primitive sensory stages of the sensitive self.
