Abstract

NISHIKAWA, Eunice. Miró and the originary: an inscription on the analysis of a child. J. psicanal. [online]. 2010, vol.43, n.78, pp. 131-150. ISSN 0103-5835.

The author aims to correlate elements of an analytical session with a child who presents delay of speech, with the pictorial language of Joan Miró. Initially the author takes as a reference the innate forms (of Tustin) and the development of the symbolism in the clinical case, and then the picture La masia, considered the foundation and the key of Miró’s work. Throughout the investigation, the author comes up with considerations about the concept of pictogram-ideogram. In Miró’s work there is a period named mutation of reality, in which the artist ruptures with the previous form creating a new language, pictogramatic, a mironian language. In psychoanalysis, Bion left a legacy, considering pictogram-ideogram as a step towards the development of thought and language.

Keywords : Art and Psychoanalysis; Symbolism; Pictogram-ideogram; Psychoanalysis of children; Language.
