This paper will focus mainly the mourning process of a nine-year-old boy, whose father died suddenly when he was three. His experiences during the analytic hours and how much this child was able to use his analyst and the setting, as well as the survival of both, show the ways he created to face up to the pain, at first (and for a long time) unthinkable.
