Abstract

GIOVANNETTI, Marcio de Freitas. On the nature and function of the curriculum in analytical training. J. psicanal. [online]. 2010, vol.43, n.79, pp. 181-185. ISSN 0103-5835.

Following the Freudian article “The question of lay analysis”, the author restores the curriculum to its original context, that is, a frontier-like and dialogical space with the humanities. He stresses the importance of the training’s basic tripod, which implies two private spaces - analysis and supervision - and a public space - the theoretical and clinical seminaries - emphasizing that it is precisely the latter that has an interpretative function of private transferences, often responsible for institutional pathologies.
