Abstract

GUIMARAES FILHO, Paulo Duarte. Upgrading directions: opening spaces in the curriculum (with a proposal to create a “New Curriculum Initiatives Permanent Forum”). J. psicanal. [online]. 2011, vol.44, n.80, pp. 217-225. ISSN 0103-5835.

Considering the suggestions from the Board of the Psychoanalytic Institute of the Brazilian Psychoanalytic Society of São Paulo about the Curriculum to be discussed in the last Internal Congress it is viewed how there is a well structured area in the Curriculum to the study of authors and distinguished trends of thought, without the same kind of attention for the links between the psychoanalytic conceptions and the axis of progression of these conceptions. The “Seminars by Choice” could have this aim, but in fact they have been atomized and for this reason it was suggested the creation of Seminars as “New Curriculum Initiatives Permanent Foruns” turned to the study of articulations and progression areas of the psychoanalytic knowledge and its clinical practice.

Keywords : Curriculum; Transmission of knowledge and psychoanalytic experience; Study of authors; Study of conceptual and clinical articulations.
