Abstract

KLEIN, Raquel Tawil. Transference perversion and enactment: a clinical case. J. psicanal. [online]. 2011, vol.44, n.81, pp. 163-173. ISSN 0103-5835.

This clinical communication is a theoretical review of core aspects of perversion, transference perversion and enactment, by doing a theoretic-clinical effort in the case of a homosexual man with a perverse structure. This patient manifested perverse acting out’s, putting his life at risk. He recreated some aspects of his perversion in the transference-countertransference configuration in attempt to sexualize treatment, and trough his way of communicate, which employed silences and words directed to misplace the analyst of its analytical function. In face of his continued narratives of perverse acting’s, the countertransference impact was excessive, as the patient tried to put the analyst in a voyeur role within his perverse scenario. This patient’s strain to cover the analyst with perverse countertransference enactments created a risk to the treatment itself, an impasse that had been solved through the countertransference careful analysis.
