Abstract

FAVILLI, Myrna Pia. Clinical challenges: an analyst building his pathway. J. psicanal. [online]. 2013, vol.46, n.84, pp. 27-37. ISSN 0103-5835.

The text is organized as a testimonial of an analyst psychoanalytical itinerary construction. It reveals some reflections about contemporary clinic, using an epistemological approach to the knowledge therefor required and the direction of the psychoanalytical training. Describes concepts that guide the analyst's clinical-theoretical thought construction, from Freud to the present authors, and how they are organized to constitute a wide approach to psychoanalysis and its relations with culture. For this purpose, the author uses a wedding metaphor that tells about some objects the bride must carry with her at the moment of the marriage vows, to ensure a happy relationship. The symbol of this magic guides the description of an analyst course through psychoanalysis in his way to sediment knowledge: something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

Keywords : psychoanalytic training; clinical theoretical thinking; contemporary world.
