The author reflects about the current psychoanalytic practice that requires some modifications in its techinique to pursue the demands of man and the contemporary world, and its consequences, such as the panic attacks, drug use and exaggerated diets, as expression of psychological distress. The practice responds to this situation, maintaining the core values of psychoanalysis, but allowing possibilities of change in their practice. Moguillansky mark the importance of transmitting these new characteristics of the clinical practice to forwarding candidates of training institutes, so that psychoanalysis may accompany the demands of contemporary man.
