Resumen

BARREDO, Carlos. Lacan in the IPA, an introduction. J. psicanal. [online]. 2013, vol.46, n.85, pp. 79-85. ISSN 0103-5835.

This paper describes the effort achieved by some analysts, members of diverse IPA's Societies, on dealing with the influence that Jacques Lacan had and still has on their formation and clinical practice. He talks about the consequences observed on those institutions in which setting that kind of formations and practices take place, allowing a singular appropriate process of that complex teaching by the people involved. It also describes a previous history of symposiums that have been taking place since 2007 in several cities such as Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Montevideo and Porto Alegre. This year São Paulo will host the event and Madrid will do the same in 2015. The pluralism and the opening of our regional institutions, to which this movement had contributed, are mentioned as the ground that made way for its development, leaving an open horizon to imaginable futures.

Palabras clave : Lacan; institutions; time; standards; teaching.
