In the form of questions and answers, the text tries to recover the scope of the concept of transference and its importance in clinical practice. The author uses a clinical fragment to show how transference and the "child in the adult" are related. She critically revises the idea of transference interpretation. She uses Green's idea of double transference to point out the two dimensions of transference as formulated by Freud: intrapsychic and intersubjective. Finally, she shows how she uses these ideas in her clinical practice by interpreting transference in the transference.
