This paper was originally written for the Meeting of Institutes that took place in Buenos Aires in November 2013. It is about psychoanalysis transmission and the changes that need to take place in psychoanalytical institutions according to contemporary clinic. Starting with a brief contextualisation about transmission, the article then goes specifically in depth on distance learning and training, the author's expertise area. It describes the ILAP experience, analysing the consequences that the use of new technology - such as Skype - and classic setting changes may have on psychoanalytical training.
