Abstract

MACHADO, Josiane Cantos. The pansexualist psychoanalysis of Francisco Franco da Rocha: a fragment of the history of Brazilian psychoanalysis. J. psicanal. [online]. 2014, vol.47, n.86, pp.239-253. ISSN 0103-5835.

This article tackles a brief fragment of the history of psychoanalysis in Brazil, the study of the book Pansexualism in Freud's doctrine, by Francisco Franco da Rocha, from 1920. We seek to understand what Franco da Rocha considered to be the pansexualism in Freud's doctrine, if it was a critique of psychoanalysis or something that he considered its essence.

Keywords : history of psychoanalysis; Brazil; pansexualism; Franco da Rocha; Freud.
