Abstract

SCAPPATICCI, Anne Lise Silveira. The Autobiography of Wilfred Bion Taming: transition between the self and the group. J. psicanal. [online]. 2014, vol.47, n.87, pp.129-141. ISSN 0103-5835.

The author comments on Wilfred Bion's posthumous work. This is the first part of his autobiography, The Long Week-End. Having written much of his work, Bion leaves us this text as a legacy. In it, at the end of his life, he witnesses his emotional experience, his childhood and youth. With a literary activity which seems to remain in the gap, between times, between the individual and the group, he forges his own language with creative intent, an approximation of himself and of a publication for his group.

Keywords : biography; emotional experience; language; poetry.
