Abstract

SUANNES, Cláudia Amaral Mello  and  BRACCO, Mariangela Kamnitzer. From horde to the psychoanalytic community, the function of phratry in the transmission of psychoanalysis. J. psicanal. [online]. 2014, vol.47, n.87, pp. 243-248. ISSN 0103-5835.

In this article we reflect on the function of the phratry in the transmission of psychoanalysis. Starting from Maria Rita Kehl's article, Fraternal Function, we analyze the exchanges between peers based on a horizontal ID that disrupts an idealized image that the analyst has of himself and psychoanalysis. In this sense, the "pact between brothers preserves the memory of parents and ancestors, while printing a renovation mark on inheritance received." United by identificatory bonds, colleagues constitute the psychoanalytic community, which is responsible, in turn, for the renewed transmission of psychoanalysis.

Keywords : transmission of psychoanalysis; fraternal function; psychoanalysis institutes.
