Abstract

FAINSTEIN, Abel. Institution, identification, and mass psychology: an institutional experience. J. psicanal. [online]. 2015, vol.48, n.88, pp.67-79. ISSN 0103-5835.

This paper describes the damaging effects of mass psychology (crowd psychology) in psychoanalytic institutions. The paper also describes the way crowd psychology relates to institutional implication and framing regulations, especially the analysis of the analyst. The author writes about some regulatory apparatus, which were implemented during his institutional experience at APA, in order to neutralize those effects.
