The author presents group analysis technique under different aspects. The group starts the therapy with an idealization of the analyst; he is seen as a superman, magician, "the subject supposed-to-know" (who has the supposed knowledge). However, behind that mask, the analyst knows there are terrible fantasies of "father's murder", which constitute the Oedipal calamity.
