CINTRA, Elisa Maria de Ulhôa. The world's discovery and the primitive destructiveness. J. psicanal. [online]. 2015, vol.48, n.89, pp. 67-78. ISSN 0103-5835.

This paper is a thought on the one's need to feel real, and to perceive the world as something real and outside the subject, as well as something different from oneself. Tolerance towards the primitive destructiveness and towards the world's survival is what leads to the ability to take care - to concern - and to the ability to be alone in someone else's presence. The author believes the world must be partially destroyed in order to become real and likely to have the libidinal tendency increased. The author started from Winnicott's thinking, in "The Use of an Object" (1968), and she also based this paper on some recognition and self-affirmation ideas from Jessica Benjamin's work, The Bonds of Love.

Palavras-chave : Winnicott; Jessica Benjamin; world's reality; self's reality; concern.
