The authors present through this article the results of an unprecedented survey of the affiliated members to the SBPSP Institute Durval Marcondes. The research aims to know the everyday practice of the affiliated members. The results are presented with some discussion about the major points. From the results it can be said that the clinical practice held by training analysts as professionals is markedly different from what they receive as model, through the training analysis. The article investigates the consequences of this situation in the institution thinking about the power relations existing between the affiliated members and training analysts. The article criticizes the current structure of the institution based on the design of a standard model analysis to its future members, pondering the concentration of power and the consequences on the subjectivity of analysts in training that this model generates.
