In the form of questions and answers, and widely supported in clinical examples, the author aims to show how the dimension of the psychoanalytic psychopathologic field - from neurosis to psychosis, and from then to the several forms of narcissistic suffering-identitary - has demanded from the psychoanalyst the extension of their ways of listening. The author insists on the difference between listening to the adult and listening to the child in the adult, and exemplifies the different forms of associativity and expression of the unconscious.
