This paper aims to study some of the historical and political elements that pass through the psychoanalytic training process, and give it form, in order to build the idea of the social production of this process, and the consequent, implied tensions. This paper is founded on a wide, historic mark, whose beginning was the origins of the official psychoanalytic institution. The author emphasizes those processes that have happened in Argentina and Brazil since the 1970s, as a starting point of questions and openings within the field of official psychoanalytic training.
