Resumen

GUIMARAES FILHO, Paulo Duarte. The psychoanalytic attitude. J. psicanal. [online]. 2017, vol.50, n.92, pp. 241-247. ISSN 0103-5835.

In the lecture, the author highlights the relations between group dynamics in the psychoanalytic environment and the psychoanalytic attitude. To this end, he uses the model of psychoanalysis as the field discovered by Freud and explored by psychoanalysts. There was a moment when different dimensions of the psychoanalytic field were explored - a situation that ended up being called "Psychoanalytic Babel". In another moment, different groups significantly agreed on theoretical and clinical issues. This paper emphasizes the value of this process to psychoanalysis as knowledge and how this has not been duly explored. The author correlates these data and Widlöcher's suggestions about the importance of "generalized supervision" - which is usual among analysts - to the vitality of psychoanalysis. In this matter, however, the author makes a remark about these processes tending towards "circularity". Therefore, he emphasizes that it is vital to focus on what may provide "routes of progression" to the psychoanalytic knowledge.

Palabras clave : psychoanalytic attitude; group dynamics; intra and intergroup investigations in psychoanalysis; psychoanalytic epistemology.
