Abstract

BARISON, Osvaldo Luís. Listening to the writing of the listening: emotions through a clinical case report. J. psicanal. [online]. 2017, vol.50, n.93, pp. 225-234. ISSN 0103-5835.

The author discusses, by using concepts from the Theory of Literature, the possibility of the written communication of the emotional field in which the analytic experience takes place. Affections that are similar to the ones in the session, the author emphasizes, may be recreated through the reader's (new) emotional experience. The purpose of this paper is to identify the materiality of Psychoanalysis as a unique science. The author does not equate Psychoanalysis with either Literature or mystical experience. The author also examines the concepts of both historical truth and analytic truth.

Keywords : psychoanalysis; theory of literature; reception; analytic truth; clinical case report.
