NISHIKAWA, Eunice; FIORE, Maria Luiza y HARDT, Orlando. Hysteria and borderline: mo(ve)ments of the psychoanalytic practice. J. psicanal. [online]. 2017, vol.50, n.93, pp. 273-289. ISSN 0103-5835.
The authors divide the psychoanalytic practice in two paradigmatic, historic moments. Initially, they consider Freud's trip to Paris in 1885, when he was first in contact with hysteric women. Then, the authors use the chiasma χ as a metaphor to deal with the transformations that have happened since the foundation of Psychoanalysis. They place, in the intersection (central point) of this figure, the year of 1953, the new cultural capital (New York), and the rise of the borderline picture. Clinical cases are brought to illustrate the theme.
Palabras clave : hysteria; borderline; regression; intersubjectivity; symbolization.
