Since the Greeks, interpretation is the privileged instrument to access the uncanny that we attempt to understand. Interpretation has become a method in the XIX century which made possible to create the Culture Sciences. The question is how to situate psychoanalysis in the broad debate that has been since then inaugurated. We consider this study, which had the contribution of some of 20^th century's greatest names, essential to the psychoanalysts under training and their practice.
