Abstract

VAZQUEZ, María Alejandra et al. The transmission of psychoanalysis in the path of participation. J. psicanal. [online]. 2018, vol.51, n.95, pp. 181-190. ISSN 0103-5835.

The authors reflect on the incidence of participation in the transmission of psychoanalysis. They go through history from the beginning of the institution to the present day, enunciating cultural, academic and scientific activities that take place both in the community and in the hospital and university environment. The Uruguayan model and its particularities are described, highlighting the moments that mark significant changes in the organization and institutional functioning, as well as in "becoming an analyst". The decentering of the power of the training analyst, and the possibility of the analysts in training to have an active participation in the design of their own journey are aspects that are considered remarkable and characterize the model. They reflect on "institutional transference", fraternal ties, rivalries and the necessary proximity implied by joint work. They present participation as a promoter of change.

Keywords : participation; Psychoanalysis; transmission.
