Abstract

BICUDO, Virginia Leone. Incidence of social reality in analytical work. J. psicanal. [online]. 2019, vol.52, n.97, pp. 151-174. ISSN 0103-5835.

The insertion of the social reality into the analytic setting is an inevitable event, as much as it is linked with patient's and analyst's personalities. Neverless the patient's and analyst's positions are diametrically opposite. While the patient revives his infantile experiences throughout his relationship with the analyst, the analyst looks for a knowledge over the psychic reality under the influence of factors such as mythical and mystical, ideological and doctrinal, scientific and technological factors, in brief, under elaboration of processes of social structures.
