RAYS, Cibele Amaro Pires. On becoming a psychoanalyst: an authorial process. J. psicanal. [online]. 2019, vol.52, n.97, pp. 187-195. ISSN 0103-5835.

The process on becoming a psychoanalyst is long and involve a lot study, interlocution with colleagues, and an intense work of analysis and supervision. I intend here reveal my journey on becoming a psychoanalyst based on revisiting my first report. This writing process has demanded a lot of work, to internally draw up the entire paths of this analysis, its comings and goings, its moments of stalemate, and the need to review the setting. Finally, the report has become a theoretical and clinical draft of work with the analysand, revealing her transformations with analysis. In addition, it reveals the paths of my own development as an analyst, because it has required me to knit together, from my journey within psychoanalysis, the supervisions, clinical experiments, personal analysis and the theories that pervade me, and which constitute my clinical way of thinking.

Keywords : psychoanalysis training; clinic psychology.
