ALMEIDA, Alexandre Patricio de. The archaic superego, social networks and their relationship with Burnout in the age of tiredness. J. psicanal. [online]. 2022, vol.55, n.102, pp. 105-123. ISSN 0103-5835.

In view of the new forms of subjectivation derived from the neoliberal culture, this article addresses a possible relationship between the use of social networks by psychoanalysts - put into practice mainly after (and during) the incidence of the pandemic - and the occurrence of burnout as a state of psychological suffering that denounces the ills of an ego strongly pressured by the demands of intense production present in the virtual space. In this sense, in order to justify our hypotheses, we use the concept of archaic superego defined by Melanie Klein in her early works, articulating it with Byung-Chul Han's considerations about the society of fatigue.

Palavras-chave : Melanie Klein; burnout; archaic superego; neoliberalism.
