This article has the intention of putting in discussion some subjects about the Education in the current educational context, social-political, historical and economical, when globalization governs the world scenery. As consequence, we observe a worldwide tendency of the capital and of the restructuring of the economy, the one that comes imposing a new understanding front to the quality concept in the education. In that sense we will discuss in this article the proposal that the Ministry of Education forwarded to the educators on the revision of the literacy process and to establish a relationship concerning the quality of the education in Brazil through a deep reflection.
