This research refers to the opinion of some students in relation to the educational softwares used in their own learning process. This paper is the result of psychoeducational consultations held with beginners, which, for various reasons, were resistent to learning. This investigation collected data from 4th grade primary school students, by means of a questionnaire. For an objective appeciation, a percentage-based analysis of closed answers and a qualitative analysis of open answers were conducted in order to try to understand the contribution made by educational softwares in the learning process. It was found that educational softwares challenged and stimulated the students' curiosity, and that by using this resource, the making mistakes did not cause embarrassment and actually fomented the teaching-learning process. The analysis showed that the use of this resource awakened the students' interest and motivation for learning. Thus, emphasis must be given to the importance of educational softwares in the teaching-learning process.
