VON ZUBEN, Renata Bonturi  and  BRENELLI, Rosely Palermo. The strategies of game Traverse in pupils with complaints of pertaining to school difficulties. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2008, vol.25, n.77, pp. 94-108. ISSN 0103-8486.

The objective of this study was to analyze the cognitive processes of pupils who presented complaints of school difficulties, by means of the behaviors presented in the Traverse game of rules, detaching the construction of spatio-temporal interdependences and reciprocity. The behavior presented by 16 pupils has been studied, 8 of them with complaints of school difficulties, that composed Group A, compared to 8 pupils who did not present complaints of school difficulties, that composed Group B. All the participants attended the 4th grade of the Elementary in a private school. The data collection was done by means of three matches of the Traverse game, played between each participant and the experimenter. The data has been analyzed in a piagetian perspective, according to the categories of behavior presented by the participants in the game and the levels of dialectic construction considered. The results have evidenced that there are differences between the procedures utilized in the game, by the participants of the two groups. The most complex behavior, the ones that had considered more general and more constant interdependence between the actions of the two players, belonged to the participants of Group B, observing differences between the pupils with complaints of school difficulties.
