Abstract

The following article is derived from the research achieved at the Service Center and Extension in Psychopedagogy at University Center Feevale, where everyday we face more cases about patients with difficulties of learning, who suffered abuse or sexual violence. The sexual abuse presents itself without distinction of age, race or social class. The victims, mostly the children, suffer in silence the terrible physical and psychological consequences for the violence suffered. The acceptance of the pain of trauma which they were submitted is a complex and long process that needs to be verbalized and worked to let themselves to feel understood and sheltered in the environment they are inserted. The Psychopedagogy being a knowledge area that works with learning and the not to learn, has as objective to investigate the relation of these individuals who suffered sexual abuse to the lack of desire to learn. The research shows that the problematic pointed out related to the difficulties to manage and treat properly the individual victim of sexual abuse and his or her family, indicates the necessity to enable several professionals to approach the issue in a point of view inter discipline. From this reality, are carried out some reflections about the sexual abuse suffered by these patients, the difficulties of learning that they showed and the situation of momentary inclusion that everybody was living.
