In this article, the author does a reflexive analysis of two psychopedagogical points of view (social/pedagogical and psychoanalytic) on the school failure. In this analysis, we tried to understand the learning and the learning difficulties; this last one as possible origin of the school failure. We also emphasized the importance of the psychopedagogic approach for the understanding of the student's failure in the school, because this approach interferes in the area of responsible studies for the understanding of the learning difficulties. To leave of that study we understood that the psychopedagogy gives answers for some problems that appear in the student, during the learning process, but that the largest problem is in the education. Therefore, we believed that when there is improvement in the education, there will also be improvements in the process of learning.
