The present article presents the historical passage of the Psychopedagogy in Goiás, showing from the certification of three professionals as the desire and the boldness they had permeate the actions of a group of pioneers, resulting in the birth of the Goiás Section of the ABPp and in the opening of the first group of the Course of Specialization in Psychopedagogy in the Region Center-West. It also shows the evolution of the academic formation offered by the University Catholic of Goiás and as the Brazilian Association of Psychopedagogy has lead its work in direction to the consistent formation of the professional of the Psychopedagogy in these 18 years of existence.
