Abstract

MUNIMOS, Silvia Szterling. There are more things in the office of a psychopedagogue than are dreamt of in our philosophy. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2008, vol.25, n.78, pp. 271-281. ISSN 0103-8486.

All psychopedagogical clinical intervention presuppose a particular conception of the subject who (un)learns. Differently from clinical practices that conceive the subject as a mosaic of functions to be reeducated in a more or less predictable fashion, we assume that the child or the adolescent who comes to see us is an unconscious subject, spoken through his words and acted through his desires. In the paper we briefly describe the mode of operation of the unconscious, as was presented by Freud and revisited by Lacan, in order to imagine new possibilities for clinical interventions.
