VALLE, Talita Regina  e  CAPELLINI, Simone Aparecida. Relation between the point of view of parents and teachers about the DCD with the results of motor tests in students from 1st to 4th grades of elementary school of public education. Rev. psicopedag. AIM: To relate the point of view of parents and teachers about the DCD with the results of motor tests in students from 1st to 4th grades of elementary school of public education. METHOD: The study included 88 students, aged from 6 years and 1 month to 12 years and 11 months, from both genders, with education ranging from 1st to 4th grade of an elementary Municipal school, divided into 2 groups: GI (composed by 44 students of both genders, with learning difficulties) and GII (composed by 44 students of both genders, without learning disabilities, matched according to gender and age with GI). We administered a questionnaire on the characteristic features of students with DCD to parents and teachers; and the schoolchildren, the examination for diagnosis of Motor Deficit in Attention, Motor Control and Perception, after the signing of a consent form by parents or caretakers. RESULTS: Through this study it was possible to verify that the students who have learning disabilities did not show lower motor performance than the students without learning disabilities. Moreover, it was found that most schoolchildren with learning disability did not show behaviors of DCD, both in the evaluation of parents and teachers. CONCLUSION: We conclude that the point of view of parents and teachers about the DCD is in agreement with the results of the evaluation applied, since both in the questionnaire on behavior of DCD and in the tests used the schoolchildren with learning disability did not demonstrate motor disabilities.
