Abstract

BRAGA, Ana Lucia de Abreu. Psychopedagogy & systemic familiar constellation: a study of one case. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2009, vol.26, n.80, pp. 274-285. ISSN 0103-8486.

This article intends to present the case of a nine year old child presenting complaints of learning difficulty problems. The child presented in the evaluation a delayed performance compared to the standards expected to its age and school year. Also presented great difficulties in writing, literature and mathematics and despite great intelligence, could not correspond to the school's demands. She remained for five (5) months in psychopedagogical therapy, showing no significant improvements. After this time, working with "family game" and "perception game", and with the systemic familiar constellation, the child began to show major improvements in school towards the end of the year. The systemic familiar constellation, with a phenomenological orientation, is viewed here as a determining intervention on the child's evolving progress. This approach begins with the principle that the systemic laws, whenever disrespected, bring unbalances, which create intertwining and suffering to the family. Many learning difficulties can be seen as a systemic intertwining. This article has the objective of presenting this new work, systemic familiar constellation, as a short family therapy approach and a viable psycopedagogy partner.
