Abstract

This article aims some propositions about Psychoanalysis and Education, under the light of concepts such as social bond and parental bond and the role of Another of Lacan, which form the basis of subjectivity of the individual. The social structure of the school promotes the knowledge, but the family is the responsible for strengthening the bonds that enable the child become desirous of learning and knowledge. The maternal and paternal functions, related to the importance of the Other in the constitution of the subject, show those educators interested in the grounds of a psychoanalytic one study case in which subject and desire are in embarrassment, causing not learn in initial series of literacy.
