Dyslexia is a difficulty in learning problem characterized by the receptive and expressive language, oral or written. The speech therapists for their knowledge and their training on language and disorders of language are increasingly involved in identifying, in assessment and treatment of individuals with disorders of reading. The aim of this study is to describe the dyslexia and its manifestations for the correct treatment thereby minimizing the emotional and behavioral impacts to the child. With the completion of this research, we found that there is a need for more research on the subject and especially the professionals from both educations about health care, understand that the diagnosis and intervention is carried out by an interdisciplinary team, including the speech therapist is on his knowledge in the area of oral language, reading / writing.
