Abstract

PURPOSE: The present study had as propose to identify the quality of the learning of the writing among institutionalized infants. METHODS: Twenty infants, living in a shelter, of both sexes, aged between 8 and 14 years old, took part in this study. The data were collected through the test ADAPE - Assessment of Learning Difficulties in Writing. RESULTS: Results revealed that most participants agglutinate is below the average of hits. CONCLUSION: The institutional experience provides cognitive damage to sheltered children, particularly in language development.
