TEIXEIRA, Cristina Ribas  and  DICKEL, Adriana. The acquisition of language through the interactions promoted by the caregiver in a nursery class. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2013, vol.30, n.91, pp. 52-63. ISSN 0103-8486.

This article focuses on language acquisition through the interactions promoted by the caregiver in a nursery class. It aims investigating the mediations experienced in school by children of preschool through adult, their representations through the word, that is, as representations materialize through the word. Through observations performed at a preschool education establishment, information was collected about the interaction caregiver / baby. This information was divided into episodes in order to understand how this process is established through adult, preparation of the episodes occurred from dialogues between caregiver and baby of a school of education. Each episode makes reference to one of the indicators chosen for the analysis of the material, determined in accordance with what is understood as fundamental pillars for the development of the language as being: the look, the body in movement and language itself. We observed the importance of instigating the preschools to rethink their practice and become subject transformers of their action, contributing to a quality education and, above all, facilitating the formation of desiring subjects to learn. It is considered that such work could help to improve the quality of education, especially in regard to the teaching of early childhood education in preschools for the purpose of a school that takes into consideration the importance of linguistic processes to the development of the subject in full.
