Abstract

DIAS, Emerson Piantino et al. Expectations of nursing students first stage in front of the health institutions. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2014, vol.31, n.94, pp. 44-55. ISSN 0103-8486.

This qualitative study aimed to investigate the expectations of students in the first period of a nursing technical school in a public university, about the first internship in health units. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, recorded and transcribed, in accordance with the Resolution 196/96 which regulates research with humans. The results demonstrate that early internship is permeated by feelings of fear, insecurity and anxiety of students. It can be concluded that this is a moment that they must have understanding and knowledge of teachers, so that they can feel more comfortable and prepared to draw questions and clear doubts in relation to professional practice.
