Abstract

The goal of this work is to discuss the effect that the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can have on the subject, as well as how the pedagogical intervention can contribute to the deconstruction of the label favoring the subject to find another way other than the repetition of the destiny. It is a constructive-interpretative analysis from fragments of retrospective psychopedagogic treatments considered in two dimensions. The first dimension in relation to the initial interviews with the parents, the teachers and the patients, emphasizing the target effect of the diagnosis. The second dimension in relation to psychopedagogical intervention, emphasizing the effect of deconstruction of the label. The data analysis suggests that the diagnosis has an effect of destiny in the life of the subject, who is without autonomy and that with the psychopedagogical intervention the subject undresses label and gets out of place it was.
